Meet Baby Tula, BOND Conference Diamond Sponsor

In order to offer an amazing conference experience, we at BOND have been on a mission to partner with companies that offer products that get to the heart of our mission: helping families BOND for life! BOND would not be here without the help of our amazing sponsors. Today, we would like to begin introducing you to the people helping to make BOND happen. Please help us give a warm welcome to Baby Tula!

We are so excited to have Baby Tula join us here at BOND. BOND Founder Joanna and Baby Tula Founder Ula met for the first time at the 2015 ABC KIds show. Ula instantly understood the importance and impact of what the BOND Conference was all about, and a beautiful relationship began to bloom!

Here's what the Tula Team has to say about why they decided to sponsor BOND:

At Baby Tula, we are truly excited about the unique concept of bringing multidisciplinary professionals and industries together to explore the facets of connection. We feel the BOND conference will bring together leading edge research and poignant experiences that will surely bring new ideas and inspiration.

So you might be wondering 'who is Baby Tula?'. We asked Team Tula to tell us about their company:

We are a babywearing company that provides comfortable carriers which support the bond between caregiver and child while promoting optimal positioning. Tula Baby Carriers, which include soft structured carriers, ring slings, and woven wraps, are made of high quality materials and have intuitive, easy to use, designs. We have differentiated ourselves by offering a variety of stylish prints that can provide unique self-expression and meaning to each babywearer.

We also wanted to know a bit about how Baby Tula came to life, we asked Team Tula to give us a bit of history on their company!

Company founders, Ula and Mike, are avid world travelers. Their first notable experience with babywearing came while traveling through South America where they saw women carrying their little ones in beautifully colored fabric. They admired how both mother and baby were content while life’s work continued. Their true “aha!” moment came while traveling between their two home countries of Poland and Vietnam with their own daughter.

Their search for the perfect baby carrier came up short so, they sought the help of their “Ba Noi” (Vietnamese for Grandma). She hand-crafted a carrier to their specifications. Soon, they had friends and family asking if they could have the same carrier. After one long family visit to Poland and a lot of determination, Ula and Mike created a product that would help many families keep their babies close as they enjoyed their own parenting journeys.

So what keeps the Tula Team going each day? We wanted to know what brings them the most joy in their business

We are extremely honored by the passion and love our community of loyal fans shares with us daily! We get many photos and hear personal stories of how babywearing has brought joy to parents all over the world. It warms our hearts to know that we play a small part in helping families continue to do what they love!

We cannot wait to introduce you to Baby Tula in person in April! We leave you with their message about why the BOND Conference is important.

We feel that babywearing is still very much a new industry and practice for families in the western world. So, it’s important that we have opportunities, like the BOND conference, to ignite: discussions, research, and new developments. We hope that BOND will bring new advances to babywearing and other methods of support for bonding.
